The design of these magazine layouts addresses the project's goals by clearly relaying the article's information in an easy-to-read format. For the design of these magazine articles, I utilized various visual hierarchy techniques to create a design that walks the reader from one paragraph to the next.
I achieved this by breaking up the information into small sections separated by thin, red lines for visual flare and to give the reader the illusion that this information-heavy article is a quick and easy read. In the first design, I used drop caps to highlight where each paragraph starts to help improve readability on both layouts and used quotes to provide a visual resting point for the reader's eyes.
The design of these articles uses a combination of color, text, and images to attract their target demographic and enhance the article's readability and visual appeal.
